EDUCATE
After a spectacular science show at school you can sign up your child for an after-school programme.
Children will be thrown into the wonderful world of science for six weeks by doing experiments and participating in activities. Each week a new theme will be introduced. Of course, everyone will experience what it’s like to be a true scientist.
HAVE FUN
Science and technology are great! During this programme doing things yourself takes centre stage. Children will do amazing experiments and further explore science with a weekly experiment to try out at home. Together we will fly into the 21st century!

How does an after-school programme work?
Collaboration with School
A great opportunity for schools to incorporate more science and technology in their education. The school will receive a free science show for all students. If there are enough registrations for the programme they will get a free lesson by one of our scientists. We will work together with the school to create a schedule and we will take care of the rest.
Programme Information
Registration Period
Children who are interested can sign up for the after-school programme. The programme will take place when enough people sign up. A minimum of 15 people need to sign up. All information regarding prices, dates, times and costs can be found on the registration page.
Sign up on time! Places are limited.
Start Programme
After the registration period, Mad Science will inform the parents when the programme will start.
Lessons start 15 minutes after school is finished. Our professor will arrive on time to prepare the lessons and welcome the children. The programme will last six weeks and will take place on the same day and time each week. Every session lasts 60 minutes.

FAQ
Costs
The costs of the programme vary depending on the number of sessions and the location. You can check out the registration page to see the prices per school. Prices range from €64.50 (4 sessions) to €84.50 (6 sessions). Prices include all materials, a weekly experiment to try out at home and a teaching manual.
+Professors
The programme is arranged by Mad Science. One of our professors is happy to introduce children to the wondrous world of science and technology. Mad Scientists are employed and trained by Mad Science and have a Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag) in their possession.
+Times
The programme starts 15 minutes after school is finished. The children stay in school and go to the classroom by themselves. The Mad Scientist will be there to welcome the children.
+Course Group
There is a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 24 children. When enough children sign up, we will create multiple course groups and we will sort them by age.
+Theme of the programme
We prepare a new science show and a new programme every year. The science and technology programme always has a variety of different themes.
+Registration Period
We collect all the registrations during the registration period. Registrations will be processed in order of receipt. Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee a place for everyone. So hurry and sign up!
